A Belgian teacher, disgruntled with the current political stalemate caused by conflicts between opposing parties in the Belgian government, decided to put the country up for sale.

One former kingdom, now theoretical democracy. Slightly used. A bargain at ten million euros (though it does come with $300 million euros in debt).
eBay accepted the listing (understanding it was a joke) but pulled Belgium off the market when someone actually placed a $10 million euro opening bid. The company claims they removed the listing “to avoid confusion,” though I’m not really sure anyone was confused.
If you’re getting all that chocolate, $10 million is a bargain.
