Solicitor Entering Office Without Permission: “Good afternoon, sorry to bother you…”
Me: (Not looking up from the computer)“Then don’t.”
Solicitor Entering Office Without Permission: “I’m sorry, did you say,”
Me: “I said don’t bother me.”
Solicitor: (Holding out some kind of pamphlet) “I-”
Me: “No solicitors. Goodbye.”
At this point, the solicitor wandered back out of the office, muttering to himself in a manner that might have gotten him in much, much more trouble if I wasn’t working on a deadline.
