March 1 is apparently both “World Book Day” and “Beer Day.”

Now, misguided Yak that I am, I didn’t actually think books and beer had much in common. As it happens, Amazonhappily showed me179,364 reasons to rethink that theory.

With titles ranging from “Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide” (I looked for the short version: “The Minor BeerGuide” – but it’s illegal in most states)to “The Beer Drinker’s Diet”(I’m sorry, sir, beer and pretzels don’t technically qualify as “low carb”) and even “Beer Captured” (they beerly caught me…) you can apparently celebrate both observances simultaneously with little or no difficulty.
