The Straw that broke….OTP

Filed under: Random Linkfests — Random Yak @ 11:39 am on January 22, 2007

Many of you have probably heard the old saying, “the straw that broke the camel’s back.” Yaks being a little stronger than camels, it’s hardly surprising that it takes a little more than a straw to do me in. I suppose that’s the “good news.”

The bad news is that a LAN party is a little more than a straw.

And while the back isn’t exactly broken, it’s not feeling all that pleasant at the moment (read: lying in bed, medicated and wondering exactly what I did to throw it outso badly). This, of course, means that most of the energy gets spent on the vocation rather than the avocation, though I won’t leave you completely to your own devices. We all know what happens when I do that – and I’m in no mood to recover only to find you’ve nailed the furniture to the ceiling and ground confetti into the carpet while I was away.

That said, consider this your Monday-whenever open trackback post. Link and trackback and I’ll hardlink you in when I can.
