Someday We’ll Laugh About This Midweek OTP

Filed under: Random Linkfests — Random Yak @ 3:11 pm on January 2, 2007

January 2-6 has been declared “Someday We’ll Laugh About This” Week. Which is funny, because it’s not actually a week at all. I guess that’s what we’ll be laughing about. Someday.

In the spirit of full observance, here are a few other things we’ll laugh about. Someday.

1. Being locked out of the house in the pouring rain because you left your key inside and someone else went to the market while you were gone without realizing you’d be locked out. In the rain. Where it’s very, very cold anda bit too damp for comfort.(No, I’m not bitter.)

2. Leaving thepool filling while you do a few chores around the house … and then going out to the movies and to dinner without remembering to turn it off. (Got Ark?)

3. Missing the first step. (Or the last one, depending how you count them.)

4. Bathing the cat. (It’s always funnier after the stitches come out.)

5. Sending someone a private, in-game”tell” giving them your real opinion about what’s going on … and then discovering you accidentally putthe messageinto guildchat for everyone to see. (Statistically, only MMO players got that one, but statistically they’re all feeling my pain.)

This is your “someday we’ll laugh about it” linkfest and open trackback post, from Tuesday until I post another one.
