Post-Christmas Reading List and Midweek OTP

Filed under: Random Linkfests — Random Yak @ 1:52 pm on December 27, 2006

Christmas is over for another year, leaving behind the stray ribbons, random gift-piles and leftover turkey (with gravy) that makes up the detritus of a holiday well-spent. I hope yours was as happy, blessed and enjoyable as mine.

The ‘net hasn’t been silent in my absence, however, and as I slowly creak my wayinto “work” mode again, here’s a sampling of the morning’s most interesting offerings from the blogroll:

1. If a politician has a photo-op in the desert and nobody comes, does anybody care? John Kerry knows the answer, and Moonbattery has the story.

2. third world county has a review of Eragon (the film, not the book). Haven’t seen it yet (we intend to) but I can guarantee the book was better – they always are (I don’t think David disagrees).

3.Sara at Schrodinger’s Kitten got a great present from an unexpected source – and then got another one just like it. (What do I have to do to get on that mailing list??)

4. Our friends and allies over at Conservababes have named their Delusional Liberal Kook of the Week. I won’t spoil the surprise. Go see what they’ve Penned for yourself.

5. Ferdy demonstrates his dedication to duty by making sure there is at least one wonderful thing under the tree on Christmas morning.

More to come, as we move through the week, but consider this your Midweek open trackback post, now until I post another one. Shamelessly self-promoted (as always) at:
