Pre-Christmas Roundup, Reading List and OTP

Filed under: Random Linkfests — Random Yak @ 9:43 am on December 23, 2006

Probably won’t be a huge number of posts here between now and Christmas, though I do intend to continue blogging right through Christmas day (relatives or no relatives, the addict needsthe fix…).

Looks like quite a few others intend to do the same. Here’s your two-days-to-Christmas Roundup and Reading List of Posts I Think You Should Read:

1. Christmas goes to Iraq, courtesy of a very nice Michigan couple. Story at ARGGHHH!

2. The latest (Christmas Eve) edition of Observations from a Padded Roomis up at TMH’s Bacon Bits (mmm…bacon bits). As always, an excellent catch-me-up on the political and newsworthy events of the last few days (and in some cases, longer).

3. basiloffers a version of the (’Twas the Night Before) Christmas Meme – with major points for both meter and creativity – over at basil’s blog.

4. MacStansbury.org has finally gotten around to explaining Exactly What Happened to bring down the Blorg. Well, he’s started anyway. Follow the continuing story at MacStansbury.org. Keep reading, and hopefully he’ll keep telling.

5. Haiku Wednesday at The Platypus Society (yes, I know it’s Saturday, but if you didn’t read it Wednesday, it’s new to you, and this is my first roundup since then.)Because anyone who uses the word “Wiimote” in haiku format deserves a link.

This is also your Christmas Weekend Open Trackback Post. If you’re crazy enough to blog through Christmas, I’m crazy enough to give you a place to admit it. Open trackbacks here now through Christmas morning – or until I put up another OTP.
