Elian Gonzalez Come Back! Madonna Will Adopt You

If Madonna had tried to rescue a child from Cuba in order to give him a better life, say one whose father is still alive, like Elian Gonzalez for instance, whose mother sacrificed her life to try to bring him to America only to have him forcibly returned amid media and liberal pundits’ cries that “the boy belongs with his father, in Cuba,” would Hollywood and the mainstream media have praised and defended her?

No. The difference? Malawi is only poor, not poor-but-communist.

Celebrity adoptions of non-orphaned children greased by vast sums of money and pumped up with slick magazine promotions of these selfless acts of charity would be a lot easier to accept at their faux-face value if these same celebrities did not become vitriolic at the suggestion that adoption is a viable option for the unwanted children of unmarried young women, for whom they advocate death by abortion.

I don’t know Madonna, and I don’t know how much her private and family values actually reflect the trashy, sexually provocative, sensually indulgent, voyeuristic, soft-porn, extravagant, anti-religious, Christian-mocking persona that she projects onto the public to induce people to give her millions of dollars for their “entertainment,” but if any of this attitude and behavior reflects the real person well-hidden behind the “Madonna” persona I would contend that Malawi acted rashly and injudiciously, not in the “best interests of the child,” in allowing its legal system for the protection of their country’s children — through extensive pre-adoption observation and counseling, such as is also required everywhere in America — to be bought off by this celebrity publicity stunt.

Even if “Madonna” is not who she publicly pretends to be, her sleazy, hypocritical abuse of society and culture for her enrichment would, in my judgment, disqualify her for adopting an innocent child whose life will be materially better but spiritual impoverished by association with this woman.

Personally, I would rather have my son home with me than to send him to Hollywood under any circumstances. But to give him to Madonna of all people …

Besides, haven’t you noticed? Madonna is getting really, really old. Too past it to reinvent herself now as a young mother. This past-generation pseudo-virgin is too ancient to have children now.

May God have mercy on this young boy’s soul.
