Welcome to another edition ofMonday Frivol – all the frivol I forgot to post on Monday…

Our top storythis morning: It’s a beer…it’s a calling…it’s… He’brew.

No, that’s not a joke. Well, maybe after a fashion, but the beer is real. Back in 5757 1996, brewer Jeremy Cowan decided to act on an idea that started as ahigh-school joke and finished as one of the more unusual micro-brewerys in the United States (and probably beyond). The full story can be found here, at an appropriately-titled article called: “The Genesis of He’Brew.”

Certified Kosher and available throughout the United States, the “Chosen Beer” company is “dedicated to crafting quality beer and quality shtick for the Jewish community and beyond.”

I can’t top that one for today. So consider this your Midweek Open Trackback Post, with open trackbacks now through Thursday night. Linked to Linkfest Haven (the best spot on the web for all the Linkfests you’ll ever need…)
