Many of you apparently had a recent urge to learn more about this year’s Rose Parade offerings. According to the referrer log, Internet searches for “the rose parade 2006″ (in multiple search engines) ranks fourth among incoming searches (behind “random yak,” “random questions” and the apparently-ever-popular “blog subjects”).
I’ve been watching this search stay near the top of the list for some time (yes, it even edged out the newly popular “HVAC slogans”) and wondered why on earth the searches ended here at The Yak. I didn’t remember blogging about the Rose Parade.I didn’t evenwatch the Rose Parade (a fact I confirmed with The Random Spouse).
After the topic spent over a week atop the search list, I finally broke down and looked for it myself. What I found shouldn’t have surprised me.But it did remind me of the old blogging adage: When in doubt…blame the other blogger.

My final word on this post? “Rosebud.”
